One role, one card: inside our dedupe

Companies do not always hire through one system. A role drafted in one ATS gets syndicated through another; a subsidiary posts its own copy; a migration leaves the same job live in two networks at once. Read six networks honestly, the way our sweep does, and you will meet the same role more than once. Deduplication is what keeps that honesty from becoming noise.

Fingerprints, not guesses

Every listing we ingest gets a fingerprint built from its stable facts. When two listings across any of the six sources share a fingerprint, they resolve to one card, and the card keeps pointing at the same opening. The comparison runs across the entire catalog, not within one company or one source, because syndication does not respect those boundaries either.

Why dedupe matters to your search

• You never spend two evaluation passes on one opening wearing two coats.
• Counts you filter by reflect distinct roles, not publication volume, which is half of the argument in why a smaller feed beats a bigger one.

Invisible when it works

Dedupe is invisible when it works, which is the point. The feed simply behaves as if every company hired through exactly one system, even though the sources underneath say otherwise; the source badge still names where the surviving card came from. That quiet fiction is bought with fingerprints on every sweep, and the rest of the machine is on how it works.
