Cookies

What we store in your browser, why, and how to change it

Last updated September 17, 2026

The short version

Two things are stored in your browser without asking, because the product cannot work otherwise: the cookie that keeps you signed in, and the record of what you answered in the cookie banner.

Everything else runs only if you press Allow. Declining changes nothing about how the product works, and you can change your mind at any time from this page.

Essential, always on

Your session. Set by Supabase, which handles sign in. It is what keeps you signed in between pages and it expires when your session does. Without it the product cannot tell who you are, so there is no version of a paid account that works without this one.

Your cookie choice. Kept in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie, under the key unlisted-cookie-consent. It holds one word, accepted or declined. It stays until you clear your browser data or change your answer, and it never leaves your device. We store it so we do not ask you the same question on every page.

Payments. When you go through checkout or the billing portal, Stripe sets its own cookies on its own pages to run the payment and to catch fraud. Those pages are Stripe’s, and so are those cookies.

Analytics, only if you allow them

If you press Allow, PostHog runs and sets cookies in your browser to recognise the same visitor across pages and to count a visit as one visit. They last up to a year. We use them to see which pages are used and where people get stuck.

PostHog reaches us through our own domain rather than a third party address, so an ad blocker is not what decides whether your choice is honoured. Your choice is.

We also run Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you.

If you press Essential only, or if you never answer, PostHog does not start and no analytics cookie is set. Not answering counts as declining.

What is not here

No advertising cookies, no retargeting pixels, no data brokers, no social network trackers. We do not sell or share what you do here, and there is no third party building an audience out of this site.

Changing your mind

. Your new answer takes effect on the spot, with no reload. Choosing Essential only stops analytics from running from that moment.

You can also clear cookies and site data for this site in your browser settings, which removes everything above, including the record of your choice. We will ask again the next time you visit.

More

The privacy policy covers everything else we hold and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions about either: support@unlisted.careers.

We use cookies to understand how the site is used and improve it. Essential cookies always work; analytics only run if you allow them. Details in our privacy policy.
