This role assists with equipment delivery and ensures proper setup, supports voters using the ballot marking device, manages ballot inventory, and performs daily ballot reconciliation. The Troubleshooter also coordinates with Election Watchers and other VSPC visitors, maintaining a professional and efficient environment. Job Description: Primary contact for tech support in the VSPC. Assist the Supervisor in all aspects of VSPC operations, including setup, daily processes, and breakdown. Required to be at designated VSPC on equipment delivery day to receive equipment and set up. Assists with Election Watchers and any other VSPC guests Responsible for ballot inventory and daily balancing Fills in for other positions during breaks and lunches Able to work 14+ hours Election Day Complete troubleshooter training, computer processor training, and a simulation training class. Computer Processors Training Dates: September 16, 2026 - September 24, 2026: 8:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (One Day of your choice when sign up dates are sent) Troubleshooter Training: September 28, 2026 : 8:15 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Weeks of Sims: October 6, 2026 - October 14, 2026 (This will depend on what site you are assigned to and what day your simulation will be on. All Sims and training will be conducted at the Adams County Government Center.)
