Production Technician/Assembler

DTI seeks a Production Technician / Assembler to join its growing, high-technology business. This position assists the production department with parts and materials in support of DTI’s experimental development and production projects and lines. DTI’s work involves the design, fabrication, construction, installation and testing of specialized, high-power electrical equipment for industrial and government applications. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to work in a challenging, innovative technical organization based in Bedford, Massachusetts. ______________________________________________________________________________ Responsibilities: • Assemble printed circuit boards (thru-hole and surface mount technologies) • Build wire bundles and other subcomponents (crimp wires, perform light soldering) • Apply epoxies, glues and other adhesives to complete subassemblies • Assist with integration of final work product on an occasional basis • Assist production staff with various other tasks, as needed Requirements: • High School Diploma or GED: Technical High School with courses in Electronics preferred • 0-2 years’ relevant experience • Understanding of Windows, Microsoft Excel and Word • Good organization skills • Interpersonal skills: able to interact effectively with production staff, scientists, engineers • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Compensation: • Salary range: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience • Excellent benefits including health, dental, life, and disability insurance; 401K Plan, tuition reimbursement; paid holiday, sick leave and vacation days accruing upon hire DTI is an Equal Opportunity Employer: Female / Male / Disabled / Veteran DTI makes reasonable accommodation(s) for persons with disabilities Visit “Career Opportunities” on our website at www.divtecs.com to learn more and apply
