Mechanic Apprentice

WHO WE ARE: Firematic is a family-owned business who has been serving those who protect us all for over 50 years! WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Diagnose, repair and maintain fire apparatus and emergency vehicles. Perform skilled work in maintaining automotive, medium and heavy-duty trucks, to include all Fire Division and Rescue (EMS) Division vehicles, including small gas engines and other associated equipment. Requirements WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Self-starter with positive can-do attitude Knowledge of Diesel engines preferred Valid class CDL B drivers license with Air Brakes or willingness to obtain within the first year Knowledge of up-to-date methods of maintaining autos, trucks and emergency vehicles preferred ASE and/or EVT certifications a plus This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday 7:00-3:30.
