This position is located in Middleborough, MA.*** REXA, Inc. is hiring at our brand-new manufacturing facility in Middleborough, MA! We are growing, and we're looking for hands-on, mechanically inclined people to join our manufacturing team. Pay: $23.80-$32.30/hour depending on experience Are you an experienced auto mechanic, diesel mechanic, mechanical assembler, maintenance technician, or someone with strong hands-on mechanical experience looking to move into a manufacturing environment? This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, building equipment, reading mechanical drawings, troubleshooting problems, and seeing something you've built operate successfully. You will assemble and test high-performance hydraulic and mechanical systems used in real-world applications. RESPONSIBILITIES Assemble mechanical systems and components, using blueprints and 3D drawings Install and plumb hydraulic tubing Perform alignment adjustment and basic functional tests to ensure correct operation of the unit Troubleshoot mechanical issues during assembly, utilizing your hands-on problem-solving skills Prepare units for final inspection with visual checks in a qualified quality verification process Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of experience in auto mechanics or mechanical assembly preferred; equivalent education, technical training, or hands-on mechanical experience will be considered. General knowledge of computers and office software Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, blueprints, assembly drawings, and schematics. Experience interpreting CAD drawings is a plus Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, strong analytical and evaluative skills to troubleshoot issues Ability to use precision measuring instruments, hand tools, and power tools to complete assembly tasks Proficiency in written and verbal communication Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members to improve assembly processes and resolve technical challenges Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment High School Diploma or GED This is a hands-on manufacturing position. The ability to stand for most of the workday and perform tasks involving walking, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 70 lbs. is required.
