Warehouse Dock Worker - Sidney

This position is based in Sidney, BC Van Kam Freightways Ltd has immediate availability for full-time warehouse dock worker in our Sidney terminal. This position requires previous freight handling/warehouse experience and experience handling hazardous materials. About Us: Van-Kam Freightways Ltd. With 8 terminal locations across British Columbia, we fulfill shipments to communities within 1-3 days throughout BC and Alberta. Between our own resources and our partner network, our coverage extends beyond Western Canada into the U.S. and Eastern Canada. Shift timings: 4:00AM – 12:30PM Monday to Friday We require the following: All LTL freight is cross docked Schedules depart on time High level of load factor Quality loading to minimize damages Ability to work schedule of Sunday to Thursday. The successful candidate(s) will be working in a high-pressure, high-volume atmosphere with critical time frames. Training will be provided. A current forklift operator certificate is an asset.
