Full stack Engineer (Angular & .Net)

VIDIZMO is an AI software company headquartered in Tysons, Virginia. We build Nexus, AI Intelligence Hub, AI Live Insight and Redactor, a product family that lets an organization search, analyze, redact and act on its unstructured data, where video, audio, images, documents and text are treated as equal first-class sources rather than one format with the rest bolted on. More than 100 customers run VIDIZMO in production across public safety and justice, government, healthcare, financial services, education, legal, manufacturing and energy, and much of that installed base runs on premises, in air-gapped environments, or in FedRAMP High environments through our hosting partners, on a CJIS Security Policy-aligned architecture. We are an independent software vendor. We build and support the software, and the channel sells it, with qualified partners also installing, delivering and supporting deployments for their own clients. That model shapes almost every role here: the people we hire spend their time making partners and customers successful rather than pushing paper through a direct sales funnel. AI Output Verification & Accountability (Required Competency) The candidate must be capable of effectively using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to support work outputs such as content, analysis, documentation, or code. However, the candidate must also demonstrate strong judgment and ownership of the final deliverables. AI-generated output must never be treated as final without review. The candidate is expected to validate accuracy, completeness, logic, compliance, and alignment with business requirements, and refine AI-assisted work to meet the expected quality standards. The individual will be held accountable for the final output, regardless of whether AI tools were used during execution. Responsibilities: Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers & engineers. Responsibility for reviewing and validating AI-generated outputs Ownership of final deliverables, regardless of AI assistance Ability to critically evaluate AI results and ensure they meet defined requirements Accountability for accuracy, quality, and compliance Communicate scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and mock-ups with the team. Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Angular 2+, React, and JavaScript. Create reusable widgets and componentry for efficient development. Build and maintain a scalable server-side technology stack, providing APIs for various products and integrations. Develop and enhance back-end processing pipelines to ensure scalability and performance. Ensure security, scalability, and elasticity to support high-traffic applications. Perform unit testing, integration testing, peer code reviews, and participate in bug bashes. Follow and enforce Agile (SCRUM) development methodologies. Continuously research and adopt new technologies to improve application performance. Required Skills: Strong proficiency in Angular 2+, React, and JavaScript . Experience with at least one back-end technology such as ASP.NET, C#, Java Spring Boot, NodeJS, or Python . Expertise in API development and middleware for web applications. Knowledge of SQL Server, Visual Studio 2019, and SQL Server Management Studio . Experience designing scalable applications with a deep understanding of security best practices. Familiarity with Agile (SCRUM) development processes. Preferred Skills: Experience with ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET 5, SignalR, gRPC, WebSockets . Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, AWS, or Google PaaS Services . Knowledge of system-level programming (sockets, multi-threading, distributed applications). Exposure to video streaming technologies, encoders/decoders. Experience with Containers, Elastic Search, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Zipkin, Consul, Zookeeper, Redis, gRPC protocols, and mDNS . Qualifications & Experience: BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related IT field. Strong understanding of OOP principles and data structuring concepts . Must be authorized to work legally. Essential Skills: The ideal candidate demonstrates strong business acumen, can translate objectives into impactful solutions, and is proficient in leveraging AI tools—including mandatory use of platforms like ChatGPT—to enhance efficiency.
