Co-op / Intern Power Systems Engineer

About the Co-Op position ControlPoint Technologies is seeking students for Co-Ops to work in the Electric Power Industry. The position will include project engineering, field engineering, and design projects associated with renewable energy interconnections, system planning, substation engineering, protection & controls, and modernization for large and small electric utilities. ControlPoint Technologies is a mid-sized engineering firm with a great teamwork culture. We are looking to hire up to 5 students per term that are brought into a comprehensive on the job training program to quickly launch their success. This role would report to either our Rockland, MA or Mansfield, MA offices. A car is required. You will be surrounded by industry experts and consultants from various corners of the Power Industry. The industry is among the largest in the country and the backbone of the United States. We perform essential maintenance design upgrades and also provide consultation to new emerging technologies in renewable energy. Our team performs the analysis, design and engineering for electric grid modernization that includes solar power, wind energy, battery storage, and smart protection. Candidates with strong Project Management skills, Communication skills, Aptitude, and Professionalism are needed. The following majors are considered: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineer Compensation Range: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
