Associate Product Manager - Product Data (m/w/d)

OVERVIEW Working as a Full‑Time Associate Product Manager - Product Data , you will support European branches and internal teams by ensuring accurate, complete, and well‑structured product data. This role focuses on product content, technical data, and catalog readiness , working closely with suppliers and cross‑functional teams. This is a data‑focused support role and does not involve sales, marketing, or project management. RESPONSIBILITIES The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Collecting product data from suppliers (price lists, technical parameters, images, documentation) Processing, validating, and maintaining product data, primarily using Excel Enriching products for internal systems and customer facing catalogs Supporting branches with product content accuracy and completeness Collaborating with Purchasing, Sourcing, Supplier Development, and other support teams Assisting with process improvements, automation, and AI supported tools related to product data REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: Strong attention to detail and structured approach to work Comfortable working with data and Excel on a daily basis Technical or analytical mindset Ability to communicate in English (B1–B2), written and spoken Excellent written and oral communication skills in Czech Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Willingness to learn and adapt in a data driven environment ABOUT US Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with approximately 3,200 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
