Windows Application Administrator

Location: This is a US-based remote position, with candidates in the Tampa Bay area preferred. Tampa-based employees may have the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid schedule in the future, requiring periodic onsite presence at our Tampa, FL location. Employment Type : Full-Time Core business hours with on-call availability Security Clearance: minimum T3 required Status: A ctively Hiring Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Windows Application Administrator to provide technical support for enterprise application administration on a federal government IT program. You will administer Windows Server-hosted applications, collaborate with team members, maintain STIG compliance, and serve as a technical escalation point for Windows environment issues. Key Responsibilities Perform technical operations for enterprise Windows application administration in a federal IT environment Collaborate with and support junior application administrators on Windows platforms Execute application deployment, patching, monitoring, and incident response on Windows Server environments Maintain STIG configurations and drive cybersecurity compliance across all Windows-hosted systems Coordinate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and development teams to sustain application environments Develop and maintain SOPs, network diagrams, and technical documentation Participate in disaster recovery testing and technology refresh planning for Windows-hosted applications Serve as a technical escalation point for Windows environment issues Required Qualifications U.S. Citizenship required Security Clearance: minimum T3 required Bachelor's degree OR current Microsoft certification (Azure Administrator Associate or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator) Minimum 5 years of Windows Server and application administration Strong experience with Windows Server, IIS, Active Directory, and enterprise application management Familiarity with security hardening, STIG compliance, and patch management practices Preferred Qualifications Experience with web/application servers (Apache, Tomcat) in Windows environments Familiarity with Splunk or similar SIEM platforms Cloud-hosted application environment experience (OCI, Azure, or AWS) Background in federal IT with DoD security compliance responsibilities Certifications Microsoft certification preferred (Azure Administrator or Windows Server Hybrid) Security+ or DoD 8570 baseline a plus About Lucayan Technology Solutions LLC At Lucayan Technology Solutions LLC, we deliver secure, innovative solutions in support of national defense and intelligence missions.
