Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) / DevOps Engineer Location: Wroclaw Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: Mid to Senior (5–8 years) About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance / DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in both functional and automation testing , who thrives in agile environments and is passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases across backend, UI, and database layers. Perform integration testing for REST/SOAP APIs and event-driven systems using Kafka or MQ. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to analyse requirements , identify test scenarios, and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Conduct regression testing , track defects, and ensure timely resolution. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps practices to streamline testing and deployment. Champion agile testing best practices and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Mandatory Skills & Experience 5–8 years of hands-on experience in both functional and automation testing . Strong proficiency in backend, UI, and database testing . Experience testing REST/SOAP services and Kafka/MQ-based applications . Solid understanding of requirements analysis , test case creation , regression testing , and defect tracking . Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies . Proficient in Java or Kotlin . Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle . Hands-on experience with BDD testing frameworks .
