Requirements Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive consultations and clinical assessments for patients with gastrointestinal and related conditions. Diagnose and manage a broad range of gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and liver disorders . Develop appropriate treatment plans based on clinical evaluation, investigations, and patient needs. Interpret relevant laboratory, imaging, endoscopic, and diagnostic findings. Perform or oversee appropriate gastroenterology procedures within the scope of qualification and clinical expertise. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans when clinically required. Coordinate with physicians, surgeons, nurses, diagnostic teams, and other specialists for multidisciplinary patient care. Provide clear explanations regarding diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, and follow-up care to patients and their families. Maintain accurate patient records, clinical notes, investigation reports, and treatment documentation. Follow established clinical protocols, medical ethics, infection-control standards, and patient-safety practices. Participate in clinical discussions, case reviews, and quality-improvement initiatives. Stay updated with advances in gastroenterology, diagnostic techniques, treatment approaches, and clinical guidelines.
