Job Description: Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Front End Mechanic to join our team at CROWN Bevcan France SAS. This role involves maintaining and repairing front-end machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency and product quality within our manufacturing facility. Job Responsibilities * Perform routine preventative maintenance on a variety of front-end production machinery, including presses, decorators, and related ancillary equipment. * Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on front-end equipment and implement effective repair solutions. * Conduct emergency repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules. * Install, adjust, and calibrate new or refurbished machinery components. * Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve recurring equipment problems. * Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and in a timely manner. * Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment. * Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of new equipment. Job Qualifications * Proven experience as a Front End Mechanic or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the can-making or packaging industry. * Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. * Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. * Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. * Relevant technical certifications or vocational training are highly desirable. * Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
