Essential Responsibilities Provide compassionate, person-centered care in accordance with each resident’s individualized care plan. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and other mobility needs while maintaining resident safety. Measure and record vital signs and promptly report changes in residents’ conditions to licensed nursing staff. Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests in a timely, respectful manner. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided. Promote residents’ dignity, privacy, independence, comfort, and overall well-being. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the interdisciplinary care team. Follow infection control procedures, facility policies, and applicable state and federal regulations. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. Collaborate with licensed nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality resident care. Qualifications Required: Current and valid California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. Previous experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, or long-term care is preferred.
