Registered Veterinary Nurse

We’re looking for a full-time RVN to join our friendly and experienced team at Thorpe Bay Shoebury Road. Located in the lovely Thorpe Bay area of Southend-on-Sea, our practice is part of a friendly local community and offers a great working environment with plenty of variety. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team of experienced RVNs, CCAs and vets, with a varied and interesting caseload. The role offers opportunities to develop your nursing skills across theatre, diagnostics and nurse consultations, with a good balance of clinical variety. The role includes a 1:6 weekend rota, supporting our 24-hour hospital in Southend, with minimal bank holiday and on-call rotation. What you’ll be doing Typically, in this role, you’ll: Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges Deliver exceptional care to your clients Work collaboratively within a supportive team
