Primary Location: United States (US) – Illinois – Champaign Function: Robotics Engineering Responsibilities: - Assists with the definition of requirements for tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes used in the engineering design, manufacture, and/or maintenance of Yummy Future robotic products - Fluent with Python, C++ - Experience with UNIX and has fundamental knowledge of TCP/IP - Troubleshooting software problems and crafting creative solutions Qualifications: - 2 to 3 years of experience and a bachelor's in a related field (Software engineering, electrical engineering, robotics engineering, etc.) - Have experience solving planning problems with operating systems: - Simple data structures: queues, heaps, stacks, lists - Synchronization: primitives, memory semantics, mutual exclusion, semaphores, scheduling, and race conditions - Exceptions and signals: exceptions due to instructions, memory accesses, and floating-point operations; signal semantics and delivery - Networking programming: socket abstractions, basics of low-level network protocols, relationship to kernel I/O abstractions - Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-oriented, team environment Application Process: To apply for this position, please visit our application portal: https://airtable.com/shrnmK9muszNdRD07
